series of 15 faces worked on latypes of Lychnite. Lychnite is the expired before centuries Parian marble, unique for its delicacy and transparency, which gave birth to the great masterpieces of ancient Greek sculpture. He molds \u201cprosopa\u201d which radiate besides the perfectness of the \u201cm\u00e9tier\u201d, a very advanced, above all, poetic mood.<br \/>\nThis is why the recent sculptures Pegylides, inspired by Kavafis, the \u201cgreat\u201d Alexandrine, come to \u201cmatch\u201d with his previous work. It couldn\u2019t be more charismatic restitution of Kavafis heroes than this, which we see and feel in the faces, which Varrias recently elaborated (sculpted). They are faces expressing reverie, expectation, prosopa which palpitate from emotions, anticipate conditions, pry memories, challenge experiences and indelible through time impressions. Prosopa, which are invincible and, at the same time, so human.<br \/>\nIn the charismatic dialogue with them, the inspired from Elytis Ryades, worked out artistically on Opal, challenge our fantasy in a charming way, through their abstract appearance. They are enrolled circularly, because of their movement, which they impose on the space all around, installing, and \u201corchestrating\u201d an idiomatic atmosphere. They are figures and shapes, which cause inexhaustible coherences, according to the experiences of each of us.<br \/>\nThese sculptures, gifted with an \u201corganic\u201d substance, indicate everlasting beings. Beings, which circulate, swing, transportate and wind between us, but we do not perceive them with our com- mon senses.
