Lychnite is the expired before centuries Parian marble, unique for its delicacy and transparency, which gave birth to the great masterpieces of ancient Greek sculpture. In fact, these latypes are of particularly excellent transparency.<\/p>\n<p><span class='av_dropcap1 av-av_dropcap1-3cd9da5fea0ef5fb27aee617571c39a3'>C<\/span>oncerning these left overs of Parian marble, nature has granted them with the shape, the size and the color, which centuries have put on their surface, this \u201cold rust\u201d. <br \/> In the process of the emergence of form through such material, a dialogue with it is required, bland and respectful.<\/p>\n<p><span class='av_dropcap1 av-av_dropcap1-3cd9da5fea0ef5fb27aee617571c39a3'>T<\/span>he tools used are the same three basic tools, used by ancient Greek sculptors \u2013 the needle, the deslidiko and the chisel. The names of the sculptures of this cycle, refer to persons from the poetry of the Alexandrian poet Cavafy.
